Adam and the computer

Our sweet Adam has done few things to rival his older twin sisters, but today he has joined their ranks. He lovingly removed half the keys on my computer. I happily stuck him in bed for the night, not once did his cries for freedom weaken my resolve. I am now computer free! Who needs them anyway, they are way over rated.

Adam is so funny

Adam is very bossy, he loves to be in charge, even with other people outside our family.
While at the grocery store a little old lady went to get some salad out of the fridge and Adam says "Grandma, you don't need that!".

While at the beach last week some boys we didnt know came where we were playing and got a stick out of the water and were looking at it.
Both boys were older than Adam, he's 2.5.
He took their stick, threw it back in the ocean and told them to leave it there. He then put his hands on his hips and watched to ensure no one touched the stick again.
He also really doesn't like people to look at him, the other day in the store a lady looked and him and he said "mom, she is looking at me, I don't like her and she is looking at me".
He did this again

when a lady walked by our car.
Adam -I don't like that lady mom.
Me -You don't even know her, how can you not like her?
Adam-Well I don't like her car then.

Myrtle beach

We just went to the beach last weekend. We had so much fun, but I am ready for a couples trip. Kaely stayed back a day and we missed her so much. I don't thinking will do that again.

Shay and I just spent mothers day weekend in Alabama working on tornado relief with our stake. It was amazing to see the power of a group united. We got to work on yards with 8-10 huge trees fallen and had them cleared within hours. One man said the quote from the tree service was 27 k dollars. I am sore all over, miss my kids like crazy, but I feel good knowing I did the Lords work in serving.

The Atlanta temple open house

We all went to the Atlanta temple open house this week for Andreas birthday. It was so nice to be together as a family in the Celestial room. I love the temple and I am so glad it is opening again. Shay and I were able to work as ushers on Friday when the big storm hit with hail and tornados. We were drenched and happy for the chance to serve. It made it very memorable.

Clean the house, No Way

This week the kids are on spring break. I am normally the clean house Nazi and spend all my time yelling at the kids to clean or cleaning myself. Not this week, I told myself I would do stuff with the kids instead. We have done science experiments, had a room party, had a studio movie grill in the kitchen, read to each of them from the friend or new era, gone to the freaky mouse house( chuckee cheese), and more and I still went to school two days this week. My house is such a wreck that Shay started cleaning without being asked. But we have had so much fun. I think they have noticed. On our way to play some basketball.
