Anytime I go away, I always think about what ifs. What if I don't come back. What will my kids remember? Was I good enough to them or did I give them enough attention?
I start missing them before I even leave and it makes me sad to go. Although I wonder if I never left would I realize how much they mean to me?
So I will enjoy the perspective leaving gives me and have a wonderful time on my cruise with the knowledge that for every moment away the kids make me pay double when I get back.
